Meet Carlyle Rascoe, Our Assistant Director

Meet Fort Worth native, Carlyle Rascoe, who joins the William Campbell Gallery as the Assistant Director. Prior to returning to Texas, she lived in New York City where she graduated from Christie’s with a master’s degree in Modern and Contemporary Art and the Market. During her time in the Big Apple, she also interned in the American Art Department at Christie’s Auction House.

In addition to day-to-day gallery management, Carlyle’s role involves increasing awareness through networking, event coordination and handling social media. Her photography skills have been instrumental in showcasing our roster of artists.

Carlyle’s love of art is evident in her undergraduate studies at Texas Christian University (TCU) where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Art History and Photography. During her time outside the gallery, she runs her own photography business in which she specializes in taking photographs of children, families, interior design spaces, brand and products, and more!  https://www.carlyle.photography/

Regarding her creative nature, “I’ve always loved art and the joy it brings people. I love the way a piece of art can change a space to reflect a person,” says Carlyle.

A true Texan, she grew up on a small ranch surrounded by dogs, horses, cats and her pet snake. Carlyle’s hobbies include eating good Mexican food, watching sports, going to the lake or beach, and spending time with family, friends and her dogs.

A fun fact about Carlyle is that she, her mom and dad attended TCU. Carlyle and her mom, Holly Rascoe, were both TCU cheerleaders and her dad, David Rascoe, was the TCU football quarterback from 1985-1988.
