Celebrating 46 years!
William Campbell Gallery is pleased to announce its 46th Anniversary having opened on November 24, 1974.
The gallery was founded in 1974 by Bill and Pam Campbell. The gallery announced its new ownership in December of 2020 to the Fort Worth Contemporary Art Partners (FWCAP). FWCAP has purchased William Campbell Gallery and Gallery One Frames. FWCAP founders are Jadz Pate, Clayton Snodgrass, Tim Locke, J.W. Wilson, and Peeler Howell. Howell has worked as the Campbells’ gallery assistant since August 2017 and will continue to manage the gallery in its day-to-day operations.
Meet the Faces of the Gallery
Peeler Howell is a Fort Worth native. He graduated from TCU with a degree in philosophy. Peeler worked for the Texas House of Representatives for four years before a brief career in political consulting. In 2017 he became the gallery manager at William Campbell Contemporary Art. As the president of Fort Worth Contemporary Art Partners, he and the other partners purchased the gallery in December of 2020. He and his wife Trish have three delightful children, a jovial labrador, and a surly cat.
CFO & Designer
Trish Howell is the CFO for Fort Worth Contemporary Art Partners and also works as the design consultant. She earned a degree in business with a concentration in accounting and is currently pursuing a MBA from Texas Woman’s University. She also brings with her 16 years of design experience. With a background in business and design, Trish brings a unique perspective and skill set to William Campbell Gallery and Gallery One Frames. She lives in Fort Worth with her husband Peeler and their three lovely children, Christopher, Nolan, and Evie.
J.W. attended Trinity Valley School and graduated from TCU as a four year football letterman. He is currently the President and co-founder of Roxo Energy and a co-founder of Roxo Media House. JW is a Union Gospel Mission board member, the Junior Diabetes Research Foundation treasurer, the treasurer for the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, and the Vice-president of Fort Worth Contemporary Art Partners. He, his wife Andrea, and their two children live in Fort Worth.
About The Gallery
Founded in 1974, William Campbell Gallery exhibits high-quality contemporary art in a variety of media, including paintings, works on paper, mixed-media constructions, photography, prints, ceramics, and sculpture. By exhibiting nationally recognized artists, along with new and emerging talent, the gallery aims to nurture an awareness and appreciation of the exciting diversity found in contemporary art.
